Flying Through Time

I'm not sure if this is a good idea. I feel like I'm fine and fully functional, but then again I have no idea what day and time it is or shall I say my body doesn't have a clue what is going on. I've been traveling for 25 hours now and I still have an hour to go before I reach my final destination. I suppose that in itself is enough to make my brain feel like it's going crazy.

My body aches and I feel like I'm still on New Zealand time high is 5pm, but it's 12am here so I should be sleeping. Then again whose to say when it gets dark that it means we sleep and just because the sun is out we should be awake. After all, my new job is about to have me working at all hours of the day so I'll just take this as some early practice.

My brain is buzzed out at the moment because I decided to read the flight magazine to help pass some time by and the article I was reading was about the scientific advancements to the human body that scientists have currently been researching. A guy named Hugh Herr was in a 1982 mountain climbing accident which left the 17 year old needing to have both his legs amputated from the knee down. Doctors told him that he'd never be able to walk or run again. Long story short, home boy has created some of the meanest biomechanical legs to date. The part that blows is mind is that his goal is to be able to learn the mechanics of his machinery so well that eventually anybody can strap on this little exoskeleton structure to your legs and run for miles on end because ideally the machinery would take the stress out of your legs so that they don't feel exhausted. It would allow an individual to save energy as the machinery would be taking all of the load. His hope is that in 50 years people will have these so that they can run across town to see their friends instead of jumping in their car.

I know I use to talk about jetpacks and stuff as a kid, but technology has seriously gone off the charts over the past 10 years. I really don't like how fast it is developing, it's cool and all, but I think it causes more issues than anything. More spam, more viruses, more money, more inter conflicts if you 'don't have the newest thing on the market', I just don't think all of the advancements are necessary. My life was totally fine when I had a flip phone that only allowed me to send 200 texts incoming and outgoing a month.

Welp, enough time has passed now off to see what my old side of the world is like now.

Peace and love and lots of hugs!
